Kristoffer Ekman has a background as a fanzine publisher (drawing/comics), street artist (graffiti writer), abstract painter and journalist. Currently he is active as a visual artist specialized in photography, and a curator focused on street art.
In April of 2022 he showed his site-specific work "Hornstull Microcosm" in the size of 13 x 17 meters, installed on a scaffolding in conjunction with a house renovation.
Kristoffer Ekman is based in Stockholm (Sweden) and a member of Konstnärernas Riksorganisation(KRO)/The International Association of Art (IAA / AIAP).
He has been awarded six scholarships from The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and one from The Centre for Photography.
The artist has a deep interest in energy, time and the multilayered facets of reality, which is reflected in all his work. Prints are available online at Artsy through Galleri Duerr, and via various partners in the physical realm.
