Kristoffer Ekman lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. His practice revolves around topics such as energy, time and the multilayered facets of reality.
In april of 2022 he installed one of Sweden's largest photo-based works of art, on a new surface for contemporary art - a scaffolding during the renovation of a residential building.
Ekman has been awarded six scholarships from The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and one from The Centre for Photography.
He is a member of Konstnärscentrum (KC öst) and Konstnärshuset (SKF).
